Hi, I'm Nicolas CADRE, a 23-year-old Junior Game and Level Designer.

After graduating with a Master's degree in Game Design at Institut Artline (2022),

I immediately joined the dynamic parisian team Yobiké for 18 months.

This experience taught me a lot and reinforced my sense of initiative as well as my taste for teamwork.

I've always had a passion for independent video games, for programming and for boardgames.

Also pianist and composer, I would like to put this flexibility, perseverance and good spirit at the service of a team, to create inspiring, thrilling and unique games.

As I love to see ideas come to life and to see a problem solved, my dearest dream is to one day leave my mark with a brilliant work that I've helped to create.

SKILLS

Game & Level Design

 

After starting my quest at the Institut Artline with passionate professionals, I carried it on at studio YOBIKÉ, where I improved my skills in the various stages of game design and development.

Programming

 

Holder of the legendary "Baccalauréat Scientifique option Informatique et Sciences du numérique" Artifact,
I'm perfecting my skills as an autodidact, in particular Lua with Love2D and Roblox, Blueprint with Unreal Engine and C# with Unity.

Sound Design

 

As a pianist and composer, I "live music".
My philosophy: "A game's music, its soundscape, the slightest sound, even a modest "beep beep", is not trivial. It's a major component which, on its own, can determine the user experience of a game and influence its success."
